Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Frontend Developer to join our growing engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining the user interface of our flagship SaaS product used by thousands of businesses worldwide.

You'll work closely with our design team to implement pixel-perfect UIs while ensuring excellent performance and accessibility. Our ideal candidate has deep expertise in React and modern JavaScript frameworks, with a passion for creating intuitive, responsive user experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop new user-facing features using React.js
• Build reusable components and front-end libraries for future use
• Translate designs and wireframes into high-quality code
• Optimize components for maximum performance across devices and browsers
• Collaborate with backend developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to team knowledge sharing

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional frontend development experience
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model
• Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles
• Experience with popular React workflows (such as Redux or Context API)
• Familiarity with newer specifications of EcmaScript
• Experience with data structure libraries (e.g., Immutable.js)
• Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token
• Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools
• Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc.
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements

This $10,000 scholarship is awarded annually to 20 students worldwide who show exceptional promise in their field of study. Recipients will also gain access to mentorship opportunities with industry leaders and invitations to exclusive networking events.

Eligibility Requirements

• Currently enrolled or accepted to an accredited undergraduate program
• Pursuing a degree in a STEM field (see eligible majors below)
• Minimum 3.5 GPA (on 4.0 scale) or equivalent
• Demonstrated leadership and innovation through projects, research, or extracurricular activities
• Open to international students (English proficiency required)
